No Job is Too Small to be Boosted

Photo of the month November 2021
This month we have a small but fantastic setup for our November Photo of the Month. This photo comes courtesy of Brad Gow from Big Red Cleaning and Restoration Services.
From the photo we can see a very small area with a wet floor. A dehumidifier is sucking in the wet air from the environment and blowing dry air into the air mover. From there, the air mover blows the dry air into the Drymatic Boost Bar. The Boost Bar heats up the air and pushes the hot air into the mat to dry the subfloor and carpet creating tiny micro jets straight into the floor.
There was also a custom cabinet built on top of the carpet, so to reach the affected area some holes have been drilled into the cupboards. Three 28mm holes were drilled into the cupboard and then using our injection drying kit to place hoses from the Drymatic mat to the cabinet we can inject heated dry air underneath the cabinet to reach the wet carpet and subfloor. Two holes are used to inject the hot dry air into the cavity while the third hole is used to extract the wet air from the cavity, creating a positive pressure in a closed drying environment.
This heat drying method works to dry the carpet, underlay, subfloor, cavity under the cabinet, as well as any immediate areas on the walls that may have been affected by moisture.
