When you are called to any water damage job you know the owners/tenants are going to want it dried and functionality restored ASAP! Here we see photos of a dishwasher leak that Jase Gooley was called to and nothing slows drying time more than water is trapped under cabinets and behind walls, lucky there is a solution.
In the past a job like this required removal of kick panels, skirting boards and any other materials blocking the ability to dry the affected area. Now days with the help of Drymatic Boost Bar heat, mats and injection kits you can not only speed up the process but also limit the damage and minimise the repair bill.
Easily setup by creating holes in base boards usually behind draws or another normally hidden space to direct the hot dry air provided by the air mover through the Drymatic Boost Bar. When you are done cover the holes with a press in air vent that not only conceals the hole but provides the space with ongoing ventilation assisting in preventing the growth of mould.
Jase also added a small Drymatic mat to accelerate the drying of the floor, the mat contains many 4mm holes (400 per 1m2) to distribute the air flow across the entire surface area. Remember the technology involved is changing the surface tension of the floor and accelerating the moisture evaporation
