Sam Dennis-Bates of Supreme Carpets & Restoration lives in Port Augusta, South Australia. Summer in this region can get to 46 degrees and under 10% relative humidity and in winter down to -5 degrees and under 10% relative humidity. The conditions on the day the temperature was over 40 degrees during the day.
The job was a water damage drying job in an old morgue with timber structure and concrete sub floor and with hot outside temperatures and no air conditioner inside a Drymatic II was installed pulling the low humidity and warm air from outside heating the area to 47 degrees inside and exhaust the wet air with the relative humidity under 20% there was plenty of energy put into the structure to change the diffusion rate of the moisture in the materials. The job was dried within a week with the all parties happy with the results
