The Simplicity of Heat Drying
Tracey Ann – Brisbane Meth & Restoration Services, Brisbane QLD
Photo of the month March 2021
The winning picture for March 2021 goes to Tracey Ann from Brisbane Meth and Restoration Services. This typical flood job required some heat drying on the ground floor.
To start with the flooring had to be removed so it could be replaced once everything was dry. From the picture, we can see an air mover fan hooked up with a Drymatic Boost and a half meter Drymatic wall mat. The Boost and wall mat lets us increase the temperature of the wall and dry the materials. We can double the evaporation rate by bringing the temperature of the wall material 10 degrees above the ambient temperature. This is an effortless job for the Drymatic Boost Bar.
On this particular job there were a number of air movers, Boost Bars, wall mats, including a Drymatic II Heat Drying Machine and Husqvarna A1000 air cleaner.
The Drymatic II helps to circulate and heat the air, as well as exhaust and pull in new fresh air into the environment, while the Husqvarna A1000 cleans the air and removes any contaminants. You can view more of these photos in our Drymatic Owners Club Facebook Group.
Great work Tracey Ann, Solid heat drying on this Structural drying job.
