Update on the Storms & Flooding in the UK, from Alan James
Since the start of December the UK has been inundated with flood claims due to a series of storms moving across the Atlantic from the US. Northern England and Scotland were worst affected with an estimated level of claims said to be in the region of 10,000 properties.
DBK has ramped up production to cope with an unprecedented demand for equipment, with in excess of 200 units of the recently launched Drymatic II being manufactured and shipped in the last three months alone.
Despite temperatures dropping to below freezing, water damage technicians were able to efficiently dry and reinstate properties due to the implementation of heat drying processes. The DBK Drymatic System adds another tool to the Water Damage Technicians toolbox and the controlled application of heat and air exchange ensured that rapid and efficient evaporation took place.
