Walking the Tidy Path with the Boost Bar

Photo of the month February 2022
Our February 2022 photo of the month comes from KCJ Property Restorations.
In this water damage job they are target drying the wall with a radial flat fan blowing into a Drymatic Boost Bar, which in turn is blowing into a triangle mat with no holes, and finally into a 4 metre by half metre wall mat.
This system is non-intrusive for trip hazards. It can easily be done down a hallway without the Boost Bar sticking out into the middle of the walkway. The triangle mat tucks the Boost Bar to the side of the walk path and any leads are taped down to the floor to comply with OH&S.
The system works by having the radial flat fan transferring air into the Boost Bar, which is adding at least 10°C to the air. The heated air is then blown into the 4 metre by half metre wall mat. This mat is especially designed to heat a wall from the very bottom and right up the wall. We also have the 4 metre by 1 metre wall mat which can go even higher up the wall.
The wall mat uses the energy from the heated air to raise the surface temperature of the wall by at least 10°C which doubles the rate of evaporation of the moisture in the wall. We can rapidly dry this pine frame and gyprock in 48 hours.

This is wonderful safe setup that reduces the trip hazards!
