Structural Drying with Safe Access
Alan Bethel | Ultimate Floor Care | Rockhampton, QLD
Photo of the Month – SEPTEMBER 2021
A busted pipe in a commercial building from a water cooler which flooded out about 5 x major areas with the main concern being a walkway area.
Safety was of the highest priority to ensure there was no trip hazards.
Alan has set up a Drymatic Boost Bar with a Paralell Connector with 0.5m height Floor & Wall Mats & a Radial Flat Fan mounted on the side to run along the wall to target dry the wall. This created a 10-15 degree difference from air to wall, to create a higher evaporation potential so the wall with dry faster.
Another thing to note, Alan set up multiple Air Movers with multiple Drymatic 12 Port Injection Systems with Drymatic Boost Bars to dry under cabinetry & neatly taped down all the hoses to dry under all cabinets & the wall behind the cabinet as well as under cupboards. Great setup to target dry with the energy.
Multiple dehumidifiers were set up in multiple areas to get rid of the wet air. 17 air movers were used in total in 5 the main areas.
Congratulations to Alan Bethel as our photo of the month winner.
