A small job here for the team from ReAssured with a water leak in the kitchen causing the dreaded water under the cabinets; which as we all know in the past has meant the kick panels have to be removed.

For those not using the Drymatic system this would still be the case, but since they have the Drymatic Boost bar with 12 port adaptor and kitchen kit, this is no longer a mini construction job, a fraction of the cost and no repair if the cabinetry frame is water resistant.

A few strategically placed 25mm holes can be placed in the kick or if you are going for the stealth look on the bottom board at the back of the cabinet and the hot air can be ducted into the otherwise inaccessible area.

Come back for regular checks and once the cavity is dry just plug the hole with a small vent which sits flush and to the untrained eye it looks like there never was an issue.  The added bonus is the area is now permanently ventilated and reduces the chance of mould growth.

Great work from the team , apparently Michael was on the job for this one good use of the Drymatic equipment and thanks for sharing the photo with the group Shaun.
