Drymatic D2 to the rescue

Jason Childs – WA Insurance Builders

Job of the month February 2019

Our job of the month winner for February is Jason Childs from WA Insurance Builders

Here is a great setup using a Drymatic D2 and a dehumidifier. Damage occurred from a burst water pipe behind the shower in the upstairs bathroom which created an awkward area to dry above the internal stairs.

To overcome the hard to get to space Jason has built a containment chamber on the wall and connected the outlet and extraction pipes of the Drymatic D2.  The dehumidifier assisted by supplying dry air to the inlet pipe of the D2 as he couldn’t access an external source.

It took 5 days to dry completely and he saw temperatures reaching 49 degrees and a 13% relative humidity.

Well done Jason Childs and the team at WA Insurance Builders.
